Note: A meter with a range of 50A or 100A, regardless of whether the measured current is less than 10A, must be connected to a shunt to measure the current! Otherwise, the meter head will be burned.
Voltage display is normal, current display is 0.00 or 0.0
Make sure the thick black wire is connected to the negative terminal of the battery and the thick red wire is connected to the negative terminal of the load. (Note that the discharge is not the same as the wiring for charging, see the concept of load and power supply later.) (The meter head uses the original imported chip, and undergoes very strict testing and calibration when it leaves the factory. It is guaranteed. There is no quality problem before leaving the factory. When the current shows 0, 99.99% is incorrect wiring, please check the wiring carefully)
Inaccurate current display
If it is directly powered or the independent power supply is in common with the equipment power supply, just disconnect the thin black wire to be accurate.
No display when connected to power
All rectified AC power must be filtered by an electrolytic capacitor above 1000uF before powering the meter head.
Judging the quality of the header (the following are two cases of normal header)
Without the shunt, connect the thin red wire and thin black wire to the power supply. The meter head with a range of 50A displays 50.0 ~ 59.9, and the meter head with a range of 100A displays 100 ~ 109;
Connect the shunt, connect the thin red wire and thin black wire to the power supply, the meter head with a range of 50A displays 0.00, and the meter with a range of 100A displays 0.0;
Other considerations
The measured current can only be connected to the negative pole of the power supply and the negative pole of the load.
Voltage range: The power supply voltage range of the meter head of 5 wires is 4 ~ 28V, that is, the voltage connected by the thin red wire cannot exceed 28V.
Concepts about loads and power
When discharging: The battery, switching power supply, and transformer are the power sources, and the resistors, lamps, motors, and electrical equipment are the loads.
When charging: charger, generator, solar energy are power sources, rechargeable batteries and batteries are loads.
